A company that specializes in educating parents and college students on how to apply for and win scholarships.
Project Objective
Create a website that attracts new customers, explains the services provided by the Scholarship Learning Company (SLC, informs them of upcoming events, and provides a means to contact SLC.
Project Solution
The primary objective of SLC was to have a clean, simple and professional website. We worked with the client to discover which type of layout, color scheme, and design would be most attractive, yet clean and professional.
Once the design was perfected we increased usability by adding a small navigation bar above the main text. The navigation bar tells users which area of the site they're currently in. Small icons on the main navigation menu help with usability also.
An events box on the front page is displays upcoming events. These events are populated dynamically and can be changed through an admin tool. On the contact page, user can send an email to SLC with questions and comments.
As a result of close work with the client, the website is exactly as SLC desired: professional, clean, simple and informative.
